What is the Raw Food Diet?

You might have heard of the Raw Food Diet from a magazine or on T.V., but what exactly do you eat on a so called Raw Food Diet?; and why would you possibily want to eat this way? This informational article answers those two questions and more in a clear and concise way. My personal experience with the Raw Foods Diet is that I healed my chronic fatigue and asthma, lost weight, and I felt an overall increased sense of well being from eating mostly raw food for the last few years. My goal is to spread the word about this nutrient dense diet so that other's may benefit from it if they choose to.

Eat Healthier With A Balanced Diet

If you want to eat healthier, you have to eat a balanced diet. For most people this means eating a diet, which contains two cups of fruit, two and a half cups of vegetables, three cups of low-fat milk products, or their equivalent, such as milk, yogurt and cheese. You should also eat at least three ounces of whole grain products, including bread, rice, pasta and cereal and five and a half ounces of poultry, meat, fish, tofu, nuts, eggs, dried peas, lentils or beans
